What can I say ... I (which i can assure you guys , i'm a big fan of PS) got a little bit dissapointed with Sony this time.. I mean , a very expensive machine , not that much of a plus or extra points while comparing it to 360 or Wii. Now , the controller , I think the Boomerang style controller was much better .. this ones looks just like the others , don't you think?
Oh and by the way , a PS3 game froze while a presentation ..hehe , I guess that was a horrible experience for Sony people out there...

Feel free to post any comments , aight?

DB.

What I didn't like:
  • Sony was one hour late.
  • Too much on trailers and non-playable videos.
  • Too much time on GT HD.
  • The price, XD.
PS: Oh.. and I think the gyro in the controller isn't going to be used that much. IMO, you'll be able to count the number of games that use it correctly with only one of your hands.

I actually hink that the boomerang controller was a very bad idea and felt relieved when I saw it didn't come out. I don't have GBA games with gyro-sensor or anything, so, you could explain to me what the heck is that?

As I've experienced, Sony has had a good line of games I've liked, Nintendo hasn't got as much RPGs as Sony in the past, which are mostly the games I'm interested in, so I was planning on getting a PS3 rather than Wii... but the price is extremely high, I can't assure anything until I get Wii's price, but 600 dollars is just too high.

Why do companies love so much to brag about sells? that is just boring, and everyone does it.
I don't need luck, I have skill.

(about the gyro-sensor...)
I'm not so sure about it, but I believe the gyro-sensor allows you to rotate the controller, spin it, etc, and have those movements done recognized as signals and being sent to the console, so that they "mean" something and who-knows-what they (those movements) can represent or be tranlated into... [like, mm.. making a character move? making a marble fall form a table, etc =P]

The gyro-sensor is the same kind of technology that is used in Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble for GBC. The ones from GBA games is more advanced and isn't the one in PS3 controllers, but I think it isn't required for what Sony wants to do.

PS: Here's the PS3 that freezed, that Don Brian mentioned.

I can't believe it .... I suppose not even the so called profesionals can go away without some crash problem ...

I agree with Link in that the Gyro-sensor won't be of great use ... at least not in most games... besides the more cpmplex and moving parts a mechanism has the most likely it will break ...

As I said on the Nintedo Conference thread ... I think this one was more boring than nitendo's ... and they didn't had the hidden doors XD ....

and about the price .... .... I just think it's better to buy a good computer than to buy the PS3 ... It is way to expensive IMO...

I got a question ... besides the Gyro-sensor ... what other special things does the PS3 offers?

Uhh.... the online store when turning up the PS3 and super-high resolution, which really aren't something special. XD

Backwards compatibility with PS and PS2 games can also count as a feature.

Then again ... The PS3 is not worth 600 dollars ... IMO
If those are the special features ... I would better keep my PS2 (not that I have one)...
by selling the PS2 you don't get even half the price of a PS3...
