It is fixed, but compared to the old version, the characters look a little squished together.

There seems to be some loading issues with the cards, either by updating the existing cards (level up, change settings, etc.) or with new card generations:

Just in case you can't tell maybe because this is something happening on my end:

I think this issue is happening again just now.

Hmm.. do you remember if it was still working on the 22 of this month (Tuesday)? Either way, I'll be testing a fix today.

I think so.

Do you have an idea of when the error started showing up? (I have a feeling the problem may be related with a recent server switch we had)

Around 24-hours ago I started noticing a problem. There hasn't been any new cards since then!

There seems to be a glitch going on with the N Masters card generators. I don't think anyone can create cards or level them up!

This is really handy for StreetPass Relay, a Nintendo update for 3DS systems that allows StreetPasses over the internet through approved hotspots.

Here's a setup guide for HomePass:
Spreadsheet with all the info you need to set this up
The setup (use the SSID/AP mentioned in the spreadsheet instead of "_The Cloud" as it mentions)

Some home networking knowledge is required to set this up without a hitch. The router you choose to use for HomePass will need its stock firmware overwritten with custom firmware from DD-WRT that is compatible with your router, if any exist for your router. That is a whole different setup from HomePass. The link to HomePass assumes you have a router with DD-WRT installed. It is recommend you use a different wireless router than the one you use regularly. In my case, I had an old WRT54G (v6) going unused so I transformed that into a clone Nintendo Zone access point. I turned off the DHCP server of the WRT54G so that way it utilizes the DHCP from the parent router instead; the one I use regularly (my XFINITY TC8305C modem/router). This hotspot will need to be wired to your parent router in some fashion once finished with the setup (slot one of WRT54G connected to a slot of the TC8305C).

It is possible to do this with other methods besides wireless routers. Read the Config Tutorials for more information how to set that up.

I have successfully been able to trick my 3DS into getting StreetPass data from around the world from the comfort of my home. My StreetPass Mii Plaza data, such as completing Find Mii II and swapping puzzle pieces, have been stagnant with progress for months as my usual StreetPasses were from other 3DS users within my radius. My first test got 6 people from Canada, Scotland, Brazil, and from various states in the United States! To maximize your Streetpasses and reap the benefits of that StreetPass data for each game, make sure to change the MAC clone wireless address and SSID/AP (usually doesn't change unless specified by the spreadsheet). Also be sure to claim the StreetPass data because the game limits how many at once you can hold between claimings (SSB for 3DS is 12, Mario Kart 7 is 10, and StreetPass Mii Plaza is 10).

Looks somewhat better but the two blues might be hard to distinguish.

Sm4sh cards are being generated faster than Mario Kart 8 and that system has been around a lot longer (latest)!

Congrats N-Masters! Cheers! :o

General Nintendo / Club Nintendo Discontinuation

Club Nintendo Discontinuation Notice

At first I was like "no" but a new system could be better because the current system isn't implemented very well with the NNID system and was a hassle just to get the coins because I always felt those surveys to be pointless and had redundant elements to them. It makes me wonder how they will implement the new reward system with older games (especially 3DS and Wii U games) that used the Club Nintendo system because it would be forcing people that bought those games out of rewards for the new system. I'm shocked conversion of Club Nintendo accounts to the new system wasn't considered since they are dropping all coins and games associated with each Club Nintendo account.

I am a Platinum "Elite Status" member for 2015 and have 1210 coins. I'll be sure to not put my 1210 coins to waste this coming February. :P

This makes me sad. Reminds me of Check Mii Out Channel. Nintendo pulled the plug on a few channels before the GameSpy/Glu Mobile server shutdown this past May (used for Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection games, such as Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, as Nintendo Network games are unaffected, such as Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. 4). :(

I'm no good creating Miis, but looking at other creations is what I miss about Check Mii Out Channel.

Specs to currency exchange rates. Why did we go so off-topic? ::)

Yep. I've heard about Euro and Pounds price situation too. And the reason is basically the government and their extra taxes. In this case, it's mostly import taxes and shipping. Obviously, yeah, this is something I don't agree with either. As an example, an Amiibo here costs the equivalent of $16.92 USD compared to its real value of $12.99 USD.

Digital goods seem to be the only salvation to the money problem but that is only for games/media and not hardware. I think Steam adjusts for different currencies more accurately but consoles don't have such luxuries.

Yeah, I also have gotten both 7 and 8 for free through an agreement the college I go to has with MS. And yeah, I know what you mean with completely clean installs. Feels nice to know it's just what you installed instead of a lot of added stuff by the company that built the computer.

And well... ehh..  I don't really recall, actually. XD The desktop is sort of a gift, basically. Left over from another place. :P And the laptop was a real while ago and don't really remember the price, sorry. Btw, you need to also remember the fact that prices for things in my location (Mexico) are different than US. :P (For example, went to Dell's official sites and these are the prices for really similar computers: $599 USD in US site vs $12,299MXN pesos [$880.87 USD] . More expensive, yep... and the one from my local site actually has one less feature. XD ) Then there's also the reduced availability of models. :/

I know that availability varies by country, which are governed by the dated politics that reign in that country. Prices shouldn't vary by country and are rather a horror story. I have heard so with people that use the Euro and GBP; they overpay when converted to USD. I wonder what constitutes the need to have a higher price?

Hi, I'm wildgoosespeeder, WGS for short. I found this forum through Link-NM's card system for Smash 4 and Mario Kart 8. I love to play Mario, Pokémon, F-Zero, Super Smash Bros., and Sonic games along with some other select games like Rareware's Conker's Bad Fur Day for N64, the Portal series (technically part of Half-Life but I have no interest to play those games), and RollerCoaster Tycoon (not a fan beyond the first two of the franchise). Hope to see a thriving community. ;)
