As the title says, we are now on Odysee as well. Odysee is a newish video (or general media, actually) platform that uses the LBRY protocol. This means anything uploaded there is backed up forever. It also means that none of our videos will be randomly restricted by copyright claims that make no sense. If you’ve used YouTube for uploading content, I’m pretty sure you understand what I’m saying.
Odysee also brings other benefits such as the fact that our channel over there already gives you options to support us economically. This can be done either through any of our videos or even through the N Masters channel itself. If you want to download any of our videos, you are free to do so as well as it’s a default feature of Odysee. You don’t have to pay any fee or subscribe to them to be able to do this.
Odysee supposedly does have ads or trying to introduce them, but I’ve honestly never seen any. I know for a fact they do not show up and interrupt your videos, though. Oh, but there’s also the fact that each creator gets the option to include ads or not.
And like these, there’s a bunch of other benefits in Odysee over YouTube for both the viewers and creators. That’s why I decided to register and start by syncing the N Masters YouTube channel with our new Odysee channel. Unfortunately, some of our older videos were not able to be backed up but I will consider doing that job manually in the future if it’s possible.
Our Odysee channel will also definitely get exclusive content in the future. Things that have the risk of getting restricted, such as background music videos, will definitely go in here. We’ve already had that issue once with one of our Super Smash Bros. for Wii U videos.
So I invite you all to join us and follow us in our Odysee channel. Maybe you’ll find other creators you know in there too. Below you can also see the latest video uploaded there as an example of their quality and service.
